A plain low-top canvas shoe cut on a slim last, with a rounded toe cap and a flat lace fastening running through five pairs of eyelets. The upper is a tightly woven cotton canvas given a water-repellent finish, and the toe cap and foxing tape are moulded rubber wrapping the sole edge. The removable insole is contoured, with a slight rise under the arch and a thicker pad at the heel. The sole is a soft vulcanised unit with a fine diagonal tread.
