Woven in a fine cashmere with a light brushed nap, this scarf carries a tone-on-tone damask figure that only shows when the light catches it, so the cloth reads plain from a distance and patterned close up. It is soft enough to fold over on itself without a hard crease at the fold, as the detail photograph shows, and it is light rather than bulky at the neck. The edges are finished with a short knotted fringe. It is cut long and wide enough to wear as a wrap over the shoulders as well as looped at the neck.
