Traditional Dance Veil Hat Prop

A stage prop for a group dance routine, built as a wide woven cane ring with an open centre so it drops over the crown of the head and rests there. A length of soft translucent gauze is gathered over the frame and falls loose around it, veiling the face and shoulders when the hoop is worn and hanging in a wide skirt of cloth when it is held up. Small round mirrored discs are stitched around the inner ring so they catch the stage lights as the head turns.
