Bonsai Shaping Aluminium Wire

Soft aluminium training wire for shaping bonsai, sold in coils and supplied in natural silver or with a dark anodised coating that disappears against bark. The wire is soft enough to wrap around a branch by hand and bend into a curve, but it holds the position it is set to, which is what lets a branch be trained over a season without a brace. Because aluminium is softer than steel it will not bite into or scar the bark as it is wound. Diameters are listed from 1mm up to 8mm, with the coil length falling as the gauge rises, from about 235m at 1mm down to under 4m at 8mm. Mixed-gauge bundles are also offered.
