Handwoven Vintage Pendant Necklace

A handmade pendant necklace strung on a hand-braided cord of cotton and linen yarns, finished with a small wooden bead and a knotted tail that slides so the length can be adjusted. Three pendant styles are shown: an openwork antique-silver-tone plaque with a scrolling cut pattern, a small stuffed fabric cushion in dark pink with a stitched pattern and brass bead drops, and a folded yellow fabric flower with a printed centre bead. The cord colours pick up the pendant, running through indigo, grey-blue, brown and cream.
