Jingdezhen Handmade Ceramic Table Vase

Wheel-thrown stoneware vases made in three matched shapes: a squat round jar about 18 cm tall, a fuller ovoid of about 27 cm and a tall tapered form of about 34 cm, each narrowing to a small collar opening. Finishes run from plain matte and frosted glazes through speckled and crackle effects to hand-painted panels, among them a pale blue ground with a small bird perched on a bare branch and a heavily mottled indigo.
