An unbleached cotton-canvas pouch with a nylon zip running the full length of one edge, sold empty as a cover rather than as a filled compress. The fabric is a plain natural weave with no print or lining, so it can be packed with coarse salt, grain or a reusable heat pack and emptied again later. The zip closes right across to keep loose filling inside, and the flat rectangular shape sits comfortably against the back, stomach or shoulder.
