A folding stand machined from aluminium, built as a slim closed baton that opens out into a four-legged splayed frame. Opened part way it props a phone at a shallow viewing angle; opened fully the legs spread wide and the arms extend into a rest that carries a tablet or a laptop. A magnetic disc at the head grips a compatible phone back so nothing has to be clamped. The joints are stepped, giving several fixed heights rather than a free-moving hinge. Closed it is about the size of a pen case and slips into a bag pocket.
