3.5-inch SATA Hard Drive Enclosure with USB Adapter

This is a plain black plastic caddy that turns a bare desktop hard drive into an external one. The drive slides into the body and is held without screws, and a large circular vent is moulded into the underside so the drive is not sealed in. Sockets sit on the back edge alongside the power inlet, and the shell is a simple rectangular block with rounded corners and no display or buttons beyond the power switch. It is sized for the wider desktop drives as well as the smaller notebook format. Options are listed by interface generation, and each is supplied with its own data cable and mains power supply; the newer versions add a plug adaptor.
