A small cylindrical smart speaker that also works as the hub for a smart home, combining a voice assistant, a Zigbee gateway and an infrared blaster in one body. The shell is a perforated black drum with the controls on the flat top face, a single two-inch driver rated at 3W inside and a four-microphone array around the rim for picking up speech across a room. It joins a network over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and speaks Zigbee directly to sensors, plugs, switches and curtain motors, while the infrared side takes over a television, an air conditioner or a fan that has no network of its own.
