A caddy that turns a bare 2.5-inch SATA drive into an external one. The shell opens by hand with no screws or tools: the lid lifts, the drive slides onto the connector at the back and the lid clips down over it. Two bodies are shown, a clear polycarbonate that leaves the drive label visible and a matt black shell with a ribbed face, and a foam anti-shock pad sits between the drive and the lid so it is not rattling loose inside.
