An external enclosure that takes a bare SATA drive and connects it to a computer over a single lead. The lid hinges open so the drive drops straight down onto the connector inside and closes over it, with no screws to line up or caddy rails to slide. A status light on the front edge shows when the drive is being read or written, and the interface socket sits on the end panel with the lead running away from the desk.
