A wireless doorbell set in which the chime unit plugs straight into a mains socket and the push button runs on its own coin cell, so no wiring, drilling or transformer is needed. The chime is a slim rounded plug-in unit with a perforated speaker grille and a 30mm metal driver behind it, loud enough to carry through a flat but with four volume steps so it can be turned down at night. The push button is a thin rounded plate that sticks or screws beside the door and carries a small status light.
