Foldable Rotating Phone and Tablet Stand

A desktop stand for a phone or tablet, cut from sheet metal in a dark gunmetal finish with long slots milled through the back plate to keep the device cool and to let a charging cable pass behind. The device rests on a small lipped ledge at the bottom and the back plate hinges so the viewing angle can be set anywhere from upright to a shallow reading tilt. Underneath, a weighted round base carries a rotating joint so the whole stand spins in place, letting you turn a screen towards someone else without lifting it. It folds down almost flat for a drawer or a bag.
