Customer Terms

These terms govern purchases made through G+ Market, including products, prepared food, groceries, pharmacy items and delivery coordination. By checking the agreement box and placing an order, you enter an electronic contract with G+ Market and, for the goods or food, the relevant seller.

1. Your account and authority

You must provide accurate contact, payment and delivery information and keep your account secure. You must be at least 18 years old to order age-restricted items. If you place an order for someone else, you confirm you have authority to provide their delivery details and that an eligible adult will receive any restricted item.

2. How the marketplace works

G+ Market provides ordering, payment, notification, support and delivery-coordination technology. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, the independent merchant is the seller of the item or food and is responsible for its description, price, availability, legality, quality, preparation, warranty and compliance with applicable law. G+ may help resolve problems but does not become the manufacturer or seller merely by operating the marketplace.

3. Prices and service fees

  • Prepared-food orders carry a customer service fee of 5% of the item subtotal, with no maximum cap.
  • Regular Market orders carry a customer service fee of 5% of the item subtotal, capped at GH₵20 per order.
  • Delivery charges, discounts and other applicable charges are shown separately before payment where they can be calculated. An assisted-delivery quote may be confirmed separately.

The checkout total displayed before you place the order is controlling. Merchants separately pay their own platform fees; those are not an additional customer charge.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when the seller confirms or begins processing it. We may reject or cancel an order for unavailability, pricing error, suspected fraud, safety concerns or legal restrictions and will arrange any amount due back to you. Online payments may be processed by Hubtel or another displayed provider. Where pay-on-delivery is offered, you must pay the displayed amount at delivery.

5. Food, groceries and pharmacy

Tell the restaurant about allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering. G+ cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Food appearance and portions may reasonably vary from photographs. Grocery substitutions require your approval where the flow provides for it. Prescription or restricted pharmacy items may require pharmacist review, a valid prescription, identification or refusal of fulfilment.

6. Delivery and pickup

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. You must provide an accessible location, remain reachable and arrange a suitable recipient. Risk passes when the item is delivered or collected, except for rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A merchant or rider may refuse an age-restricted handoff if valid identification is not produced.

7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Contact support promptly if an item is missing, damaged, materially different, unsafe or not delivered. Perishable or made-to-order food usually cannot be cancelled after preparation begins unless it is defective, unsafe or required by law. Return eligibility for other goods depends on condition, listing terms and applicable consumer law. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method or another agreed method and provider processing times may apply.

8. Fair use and safety

Do not misuse the service, place fraudulent orders, evade fees, harass users, interfere with fulfilment or buy prohibited goods. We may restrict an account, hold an order for review or cooperate with lawful investigations to protect customers, merchants and delivery partners.

9. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use account, order, location and payment-reference data. You agree to receive transactional messages needed to complete orders, including push, SMS, email or in-app notices. Marketing choices remain separate.

10. Electronic contract

Your checked box, authenticated account, contract version, order identifier and server-recorded time form evidence of your electronic acceptance. You agree that electronic records, notices and signatures may be used for this transaction. If we materially change these terms, we may require acceptance of a new version before a later purchase.

11. Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law. To the extent permitted by law, G+ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a merchant's independent acts, beyond amounts paid for the affected order. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute promptly; either party may then use a competent court or other lawful dispute process in Ghana.
